A Century of Arclinea
From 1925 to 2025, Arclinea has spent a hundred years shaping the world of kitchen design, blending innovation, creativity, human connection, and the joy of sharing meals. These guiding principles have fueled a visionary approach that is always ready to anticipate new trends and lifestyles. During Milan Design Week 2025, the brand opened the festivities for its remarkable centenary, setting in motion a year-long program of cultural and artistic events. Each initiative is a tribute to Arclinea’s enduring ethos, fostering togetherness and honoring the kitchen as a place of culinary artistry, connection, and meaningful exchange. Matisse is proud to be the exclusive partner for Arclinea in New Zealand, bringing this legacy of design and conviviality to local homes.
100 Years, 100 Ingredients
Celebrating with Amélie Ambroise
The photography book 100 Years, 100 Ingredients presents one hundred carefully chosen still-life images that celebrate Italy’s deep culinary traditions. This flagship anniversary project was created through the lens of French photographer Amélie Ambroise, with art direction by Juma. In Amélie’s work, even the humblest items, from a single piece of fruit to a bulb of garlic, are transformed into works of art. Each subject is photographed in its purest form before becoming the raw inspiration for culinary creativity. Matisse is proud to be the exclusive partner for Arclinea in New Zealand, sharing this artistic celebration of food with local audiences.
The New Arclinea Proxima kitchen emerges as the focal point of a space that is both surprising and refined. Designed by Antonio Citterio, Proxima’s outstanding approach transforms functionality into aesthetics, combining high performance with contemporary elegance. This hyper-efficient, fully equipped model draws inspiration from professional kitchens while maintaining a sense of warmth and domestic familiarity. The handle, innovative in both scale and design, emerges as a defining feature, not only in the linear version but also vertically, infusing cabinetry with personality and carving out a firm presence.
