In 1991 he graduated in industrial design from the Higher School of Design in Zurich and received the sponsorship award for his diploma. Immediately after completing his training, Häberli worked with Christophe Marchand in a joint studio. In 1999 they separated and Häberli opened his own studio Alfredo Häberli Design Development in Zurich's Seefeld. He works for companies such as Alias, BMW , Camper, Georg Jensen, Kvadrat, Moroso, Vitra. In his designs, Häberli successfully combines tradition and renewal with joy and energy.
