B&B Italia at MDW26

B&B Italia's latest collection is presented within a refined, museum-like environment by Formafantasma, while at Via Durini 12, the exhibition “B&B Italia Before & Beyond”, curated by Gianluigi Ricuperati, marks the brand’s 60th anniversary.

Themed "Before & Beyond," the displays highlighted six decades of iconic design, research, and avant-garde culture. The stand (Hall 9, Stand E03 E11 F02 F06) featured new, innovative, and sustainable projects from international designers within a curated, architectural space. This year marks a long-awaited return to the fair by the brand, with the latest designs encompassing both luxury and comfort.

Alongside the fair presence, B&B Italia used Milan Design Week more broadly to reinforce its creative direction and collaborations, introducing new products, like the Tufty Time 20 sofa, and extensions of existing collections that balance heritage with contemporary design thinking. Their approach this year was less about spectacle and more about refined storytelling through space, curation and product, aligning with a wider shift at the fair toward exhibition-like environments and collectible design,
