Born in Carimate, he graduated in Milan in 1993 and immediately started working with Cappellini. Besides his activity as consultant for furniture brands, Carlo Colombo took part in the renovation of public and private showrooms, offices, restaurants and villas; one of the most interesting project is the Hong Kong Louvre Gallery, a space open to highest quality design items. In 2004 he received the “Designer of the Year” award in Tokyo.

His career, since the beginning, is characterized by collaborations with the most famous brands of Made in Italy design, which include, among others, prestigious names such as Flexform, Poliform, Giorgetti, Cappellini, Antoniolupi, Flou, Penta Light, Amini , Elie Saab, Cartier, Bentley Home, Bugatti Home, Trussardi Casa, Olivari and Faber to name but a few. In addition to design products, Carlo is actively involved in the development of corporate strategies and product marketing, develops graphic projects, is curator of exhibitions and artistic director of the brands that see him as a protagonist.

In 2011 he taught design at the De Tao Masters Academy in Beijing. The project activity, initially concentrated on interior design and planning, progressively extends to the architecture sector, in Italy and in the world. Carlo is a professional who creates projects with a high artistic value, recognized by the countless awards that have marked his career.

Today, with his A ++ studio, he deals with large-scale projects all over the world, from design to interiors and architecture.
