Clemens Weisshaar was born in Munich. He first trained as a metal worker and then studied product design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and the London Royal College of Art.
For three years he worked as an assistant to Konstantin Grcic, before starting his own design office in 2000 to found. In 2002 he bundled this together with the Swede Reed Kram to create Kram/Weisshaar – an interdisciplinary studio with offices in Munich and Stockholm. In their work, they rethink the design process and combine conventional production methods with the latest technical possibilities. The works by Kram/ Weisshaar are part of internationally renowned design collections - such as the Vitra Design Museum (Weil am Rhein),
