Their collaboration began during their studies at the Arts and Crafts Secondary School in Prague, leading them to pursue further education in Architecture at the Czech Technical University and Furniture & Interior Design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague, as well as at Konstfack in Stockholm.

Their professional journey includes experience at the Swedish studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, and collaborations with brands such as Lasvit and Braasi. Notably, they have designed the Hiroi lounge chair for the Italian brand Cappellini, a piece marked by its visual purity and exceptional craftsmanship.

Beyond furniture design, JanskyDundera engages in interior design, exhibition installations, and teaching. They also operate under the brand MCDJ, creating a range of products including clothing.

Their work is characterized by a minimalist aesthetic, focusing on functionality and craftsmanship, and has been showcased at various international design events, reflecting their commitment to quality and innovation in contemporary design.
