Franco Driusso graduated in Architecture in Venice with technology-focused later obtained a master’s degree in Industrial Design at the University Institute of Architecture in Venice.

He is the Co-founder of the studio DriussoAssociati | Architects based in Mestre Venice, operating internationally in the fields of Brand Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Retail Design and Interiors. There are numerous collaborations with major companies and industry groups for which, in addition to Art Direction for the coordination of the image, designs products, showrooms, shops and new operating locations (HeadQuarters).

His design approach is particularly attentive to the formal research, technological innovations and experiments with materials. The development of detail and sensitivity in the use of light and matter is a fundamental component of his projects; the characteristic elements of the creative process. Driusso is always passionate about photography until it, nevertheless, falls within the scope of their profession.

He has designed showrooms for various companies in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, France, Germany, Greece, England, Mexico, USA, Canada, United Arab Emirates.

He has also received numerous awards and recognition in the international arena in the field of Design and Architecture including the prestigious Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, the Interior Innovation Award and the Design Preis Deutschland German Design Council Award.

In 2016, he received a special mention in the 100 Excellencies Italian Gallery for the Industrial Design. He was also awarded the “REGULA 2017” prize in the selection of the top 100 Italian projects, with the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, CNAPPC National Architects Council, FederlegnoArredo, Politecnico di Milano and La Sapienza of Rome.

In 2018 “REGULA AWARD” was assigned to Arch. Franco Driusso for “SKYRING” product signed Light Drops Design. On 20th June 2018 he received the honorable mention at the XXV COMPASSO D’ORO ADI 2018 for “Ak_08 kitchen” project for Arrital.
