    Gaulino Chair Specifications

    55 x 51 x h.83 cm

Frame in FSC-certified ash with either a clear varnish or stained black or coral red (RAL 3016).

Seat upholstered in natural hide, black hide or toasted hide.

Originally designed in 1987, the Gaulino inevitably caught international attention. Now, an entire family is moulded from this model. It’s no surprise.

The chair is an icon of the modern 20th century. The Gaulino is a design that enters the delectable. A wooden frame with leather, stretched by hand into the contemporary.

Inspired by Antonio Gaudi and Carlo Mollino, Tusquets let his seat spread fluidly and show its contoured wooden frame. The slender tapered legs reach out of the chair like a clawed hand.
The Gaulino was Tusquets’ first chair designed in wood. Made from ash and hand-upholstered in rich leather, the chair has an artisanal and aesthetic intensity while remaining light, practical, and stackable.
