The Ippongi Table embodies CondéHouse founder Minoru Nagahara’s belief that the scars and irregularities found in timber are not imperfections, but evidence of the tree’s survival in nature, and therefore among its most beautiful qualities.

Meaning “from one trunk,” Ippongi celebrates the individuality of carefully selected solid walnut. Before shaping the timber, CondéHouse’s master craftspeople study it from every direction, examining its surface, grain and natural character. The wood is then transformed into a refined, balanced design that preserves these distinctive markings without feeling rustic or heavy.

The generous tabletop is constructed from book-matched panels. This careful composition highlights the continuity and movement of the walnut grain, while natural outer edges retain the original character of the timber.

Supported by sculptural square-pillar legs and finished with precise traditional joinery, every Ippongi Table is a singular expression of material, skill and Japanese craftsmanship.
