The result of a study in transparent surfaces and their special light effects, this shelving draws its inspiration both from the kaleidoscope and the glass panes of 18th century Venetian palazzi. The back of the Lens bookcase for B&B Italia was obtained through the manufacturing of two glass sheets, coupled together by an internal film that enhances the depth of the surface, thus producing further optical effects. The supporting frame is made of white-painted metal.
