A radical aesthetic movement is remerging. Once at the height of architectural and interior design, the futuristic utopian style of space age furniture introduced a surplus of new mouldable materials into the residential design world.
A rising confidence in space travel during the 1950s sparked interest in society for science and technology. The end of the second world war solidified geometric patterns, satellite shapes and ornamental lines during this period. Now, we journey to new lands to share some of our current favourite ultramodern pieces.
