After a collaboration with the Cappellini company in the field of product research and development, she founded her own design studio in 2004. She advises companies as art director and product designer among her clients: Cappellini, Bosa Ceramiche, Duepuntosette, Tucano, Red Bull, Max & Co, Nobody & Co, Bolia, Ex.t, Fiera Milano. She collaborates in the design and construction of sets for television broadcasts (Endemol Italia, Zodiak active Srl, Colorado film, Quadrio Srl).

Catalano has participated in numerous competitions and has worked in Italy and Chile, in addition to providing consulting for Cappellini’s Research and Development. 

Recent experiences also include the didactic area: she has held a cycle of interventions on the themes of design and project culture in the within the Communication and Design Laboratory, Faculty of Literature and Philosophy - Degree Course in Communication Sciences and Master in Communication Management in the Fashion Sora, and many others.
