The playful design for a practical side table illustrates both the weighty and plastic qualities of architectural concrete.

Jamie Hayon’s quirky sense of humor and idiosyncratic world view has made him one of Spain’s most renowned contemporary designers. Sharing a similar sense of spectacle and sensibility BD Barcelona first collaborated with the designer on the ‘Showtime’ collection, back in 2006. Its success led to a large number of collaborations that include several elements of furniture, like the Monkey Side Table. Hayon’s playful nature is perfectly captured with the sculpted gesture of this quizzical cartoonish figure. The architectural concrete is fashioned into a light-hearted side table for outdoor or indoor use, contrasting light and heavy, practical and whimsical.

Side table manufactured in one solid piece or architectural concrete. Available in grey, black (both apt for outdoor and indoor) or white (apt only for indoor). Includes regulatory glides. The grey and white options are apt for indoor and outdoor use while the black finish is apt only for indoor use. The maximum load of the table is 10 Kg.
