A sophisticated and functional kitchen inspired by our previous project for Josh and Helen Emett’s home. This newly completed Arrital Kitchen is the perfect combination of warm tones and understated luxurious finishes. The integrated appliances and clean lines offer ultimate practicality with this kitchen being the heart of this clients busy home.
A note from our client:
"We spotted Josh & Helen’s stunning kitchen in Viva and were immediately drawn to it. I think seeing it fully completed really helped - samples aren’t my friend! It was the natural warm tones, the simple clean lines and functional family friendliness that appeal. The overall vibe looked sophisticated and understated at the same time. We didn’t think Matisse would be within our budget but thought we’d check them out and were pleased to discover the Arrital range which had a similar aesthetic, great Italian quality but a little more affordable. Still well over our original budget but well worth it…I joke it’s the baby cousin of Josh’s kitchen" Lisa Courtney
"We’re a family that loves to cook and bake so not short of a gadget or ten. We really wanted a place for everything without cluttered drawers or cupboards (minus the must have junk drawer of course!). We also wanted to keep the bench clutter free. We achieved this by incorporating an on bench cupboard to house all the high use appliances such as the toaster and coffee machine. Installing a beautiful bronzed mirror backsplash makes that little nook sing. We also wanted a bar area without overcrowding the kitchen; a fridge drawer was high on the wish list! Matisse created a bar zone using the same marble to tie it all in complete with shelving to house vintage champagne glassware. It’s in the perfect spot for guests to top up a bubbles without needing to be in the kitchen.
The final outcome is practical, functional as well as beautiful! I love working in the space, it’s calming, big enough for the whole family to be help with dinner or prepping never ending lunch boxes and works really well with the rest of our renovation." Lisa Courtney
