One for the Ages — The Thin Edge Collection reinterprets George Nelson's Rosewood Case Series, utilizing the designs but contemporizing the materials and production. The Nelson Bed has the original's hallmarks, including a slim profile and expert woodcraft, but comes in larger sizes and more sustainable finishes.

Keeping with George Nelson's vision of pieces that could be adapted for the times, the Nelson Thin Edge Bed (1954) now features slats instead of springs to accommodate memory foam mattresses. Finishes, including walnut and white ash, reflect new technologies and consumer preferences. The headboard is available with or without woven cane; legs may be solid wood or stainless steel. But even with these updates, this unmistakably remains a Nelson bed frame in its simplicity and quiet beauty.

    • Solid walnut or white-ash frame.
    • Solid ash slats allow for air circulation.
    • Two headboard and base styles.
    • Legs available in solid wood or stainless steel.
    • Sizes and wood finishes reflect today’s aesthetics.
