Launched in 2005 the Polder Sofa exhibits an unusual asymmetrical shape and carefully crafted combination of colours, materials and textures. Now 17 years later, Vitra has redefined the colour combinations of the iconic sofa together with Hella Jongerius. The new colour palettes are muted, earthy shades that bring the sofa closer to the origin of its inspiration: the flat coastal farming fields of the Netherlands.
