The Riddell Road project is nestled within the idyllic waterfront of Karaka Bay Beach. With meticulous attention to detail and the use of premium materials, the Matisse Design Team has crafted a truly luxurious kitchen, scullery, kitchenette, wine cellar, and walk-in wardrobe.
This expansive project proudly features the esteemed Italian brand Arrital, highlighting the exquisite elements of AK-05, a design by renowned architect Franco Driusso.
In the main kitchen of the first completed house, floor to ceiling Timber Veneer cabinetry accentuates the height of the space, the finish is rich Eucalipto Sabbiato Fume. The Rimadesio doors are straight edged and sit seamlessly flat against the cabinetry. Flush-sitting ovens and an integrated dishwasher, freezer, and fridge, are all quality-controlled appliances supplied by industry-leading brand Gaggenau.
As well as being a visually impacting design, the cabinetry also contains space-saving technology to improve functionality and accessibility. The drawers include cutlery inserts and anti-slip mats. A spacious Dexton Entzo Matt benchtop extends up the walls into a durable backsplash.Premium streamlined taps are supplied by German brand Hansgrohe leading into a single Bianco sink.
In the kitchen center, a specially designed island includes a floating back and LED lighting. An induction hob with downdraft enhances futuristic cooking, both elegant in design and minimizing safety risks. LED surface mounted lighting is maintained beneath the center island overhang, while spotlights illuminate the inside of the tall glass units.
Innovative Velaria sliding doors by Rimadesio serve as contemporary sub-dividers for the wine cellar, scullery, and walk-in-wardrobe. The handles and structure are finished in soft brown and acid grey glass, an opulent gold finish decorates the cellar. Designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, Velaria highlights the benefits of soft motion brakes which ensure smooth and silent door movements.
The scullery is fitted out with AK-Project, containing Fenix Bianco Male door fronts and Gola curved handles in a Bianco finish. The benchtops in this space are also Dexton Entzo, these surfaces carry natural light and the space. Integrated appliances, also by Gagganeau, include a gas cooktop, range hood, and dishwasher.
Since 1902, MisuraEmme has been producing evolving modern creations for projects like Riddell Road. Here, the PaloAlto system has been used. This design allows for a transparent view of interior items through an elegant Panama grey aesthetic.
House 2 for Riddell Road is on track for completion later this year, featuring many more timeless designs by Matisse.
