The floating cables are attached to two rods. Their length can be changed depending on the height of the ceiling and the client's wishes by sliding or retracting. It is also possible to choose the number of chandelier arms. Each arm always has its own light source which is hidden in glass with metal plating and takes the form of an atypically cylindrical shape. The lighting is available in two color options – rose gold and glossy black.

Combining the aesthetics of glamorous chandeliers with plain cables and bare bulbs.

Designer Boris Klimek created the Upside Down lighting concept which combines two completely different approaches: the spectacular with the simplest one can imagine. LASVIT is proud to present this special and unusual chandelier as part of the Milan Design Week.

The Upside Down lighting can work independently, as a single shimmering object levitating in space, but also as a composition of several glass objects that together form a contemporary and extraordinary spatial concept. The Upside Down lighting concept draws inspiration from simple, randomly sagging electric cables with exposed light bulbs on one hand, and the aesthetics of huge spectacular chandeliers on the other. The apparent levitation of the light sources further strengthens the effect of the unusual connection of diametrically opposed elements and adds a dash of magic and a little tension to any space.
