Starting in 1955, Ettore Sottsass designed several collections for the American importer Irving Richard of the Raymor Company in New York. Frequently exhibited at the Il Sestante Gallery in Milan, these collections are still produced and distributed by Bitossi today.
Chalice-shaped vase from the black/white series, hand-turned from white earthenware. Two-tone matt enamel. All Bitossi ceramics are entirely handmade by their artisans at every stage of the production process.
