The glass screen system is brought to life by panes of clouded glass affixed to a free-standing vertical rail, giving the impression of layered organic shapes and hues floating in space. With its soft, imperfect radiuses and wide array of moody hues, Cirrus stands as a thoughtful interpretation of its namesake cloud genus. The glass structure of the Cirrus wall also took inspiration from ice crystals which naturally form real Cirrus clouds.
Sophisticated glass clouds that refresh any interior The cloud genus called Cirrus are fine, thin, almost translucent wisps of cloud which create a romantic spectacle, and the Cirrus glass wall deliberately replicates this natural phenomenon. Cirrus is the third collaboration between LASVIT and the iconic design duo Yabu Pushelberg.
Its shades also come from nature: Cirrus clouds drift as delicate, wispy formations defined by softly curled edges, ranging in colour from white and gray in bright light to dawn-like blues, purples and dusky pinks at sunrise and sunset. The Cirrus glass wall similarly changes its effect and forms the atmosphere according to the intensity of the lighting. In daylight, the glass components are more transparent, while in twilit evening they create an intense feeling of intimacy. LASVIT’s Cirrus wall works perfectly as an independent art piece for any space, but it can also serve as an optical divider of interiors, such as restaurants, offices, and even the larger spaces of private residences.
