Contemporary and comfortable lines for this sofa that was designed by Le Corbusier for his Paris residence, and which can still be seen there today. This piece has inspired a number of re-issues by Cassina, all in the utmost respect of the creator’s original intent. Cassina undertook its first revisitation of the original in 1974, in just the one size with a chrome finish. The sofa was later made available in a number of finishes, and in a large size option. The comfortable and elegant frame is set off by the feather-filled cushions that form the back-rest and the seat. These rest on a highly distinctive metal frame available in seven colours from the Cassina collection. The current edition, supplied as a two- or three-seater, also comes upholstered in leather or fabric.
